Frequently Asked Questions
Home Staging will significantly improve the marketability of your home. Staged homes sell faster and for more money than your competition and new construction homes. Home Staging sets your house above and beyond ALL of them.
I have real estate agent why should I hire Tower Hill
Home Staging?
Realtors make a world of difference when selling your home. They are
versed in many
aspects of real estate but, a home stager is trained specifically in
home
staging. It becomes
a team effort
between you, the home owner, your real estate agent and Tower Hill Home
Staging.
How much
will it cost
for me to have my house staged?
Tower Hill Home Staging charges 150.00 for the initial
evaluation of your home both inside and out. Basically, it depends on
square
footage and how much work will be necessary in your home. Please call
for our
current rates. National statistics have proven that home owners who
spent an
average of 600.00 dollars on home staging recouped 340% of that
investment upon
the sale of their home.
Are the
costs of home
staging tax deductible?
Yes! Whatever you spend on home staging is tax deductible
whether it is home staging or includes furniture rental, home repairs,
landscaping or more. The equity you will gain is tax deductible so
let’s make
the most of your house so you can take advantage of that as well. The
money
that you should spend to stage your house will be a drop in the bucket
by
comparison to the first price reduction for an un-staged home.
Do you stage new construction or otherwise vacant
homes?
Absolutely! We offer a wide variety of rental and/or permanent purchase
options
which include furniture, artwork, lighting, and accessories. Furniture leases are
available for both short
and long term.
Must I pack
up my
house?
Yes, some of it. You
will be selling your house in the next few months so let’s pack up your
family
heirlooms and keep them safe for you to use in your new home. This process not only
helps you and your
family to start packing physically but, emotionally as well. Your house will start to
‘feel’ different. Your
house will make a great ‘first
impression’.
What about
my pets?
Not everyone, unfortunately, enjoys pets as much as you and
I do. We need to market your home so it appeals to the widest possible
range of
potential home buyers. If you want to sell your home then we must “do
it all”
and “do it all very well” which includes making your home seem like it
is
absent of any pets. Non-pet
owners and
pet-owners are well aware of some of the damage that pets can sometimes
cause
to a home so let’s not give them any reason for concern.
